President Erdoğan announced our trade target with Malaysia

President Erdoğan, at the Presidential Complex, with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, at the signing ceremony attended.

"OUR TRADE TARGET IS 10 BILLION DOLLARS"

Once again, in your presence, I say welcome to Turkey. As you know, I visited Kuala Lumpur in February of last year. During my visit, we discussed the relations between our countries. Among our countries, wehigh-level strategic cooperation council. Indeed, today we held the first meeting of our council. Ibelieve that the Turkey-Malaysia friendship, which draws itsstrength from our ancient history, will be further reinforced withthis mechanism. Our We first signed documents that willstrengthen the legal foundation of our relations.As you know, Malaysia is ourlargest trading partner in the ASEANregion, and we also have a free trade agreement between us.During my visit to Kuala Lumpur, we had announced a trade volume target ofover10 billion dollars. Joint effortsto bring our trade to this target in a balanced and sustainable manner. Likewise, I sincerely believe that we can carry it to this goal. Similarly, between our countrieswe also want to bring new momentum to investment relations, and we desire for Malaysia to increase its investmentsin our country. The Prime Minister's visit todaytoday and tomorrow, Turkish bu siness circles' meetingswill be beneficial for ourcountries.
