The security summit held under the chairmanship of Erdoğan at the State Guest House at Atatürk Airport has ended.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Head of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) İbrahim Kalın, Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) Haluk Görgün, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, and AKP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan and the participants left the State Guest House after the meeting, which lasted approximately two hours.
STATEMENTS FROM THE MEETING
During the security meeting chaired by President Erdoğan, the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ and the steps taken and to be taken regarding the fight against terrorism were discussed.
It was stated at the meeting that the fight against terrorism and devoted efforts for a Turkey free of terrorism will continue, and that the establishment of a "terroristan" across the border will never be permitted.
