President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, for the European Political Community Summit, met with French President Emmanuel Macron for talks.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and France, as well as regional and global issues, were evaluated. Erdoğan stated that Turkey is acting with a strategic perspective of full membership in the EU. He noted that the updating of the Customs Union and the fulfillment of visa liberalization promises are expected.
