President Erdoğan meets with NGOs in Bursa

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the NGO Bursa Meeting Program.

Key highlights from Erdoğan's speech are as follows:

"We exist for our nation, and we exist together with our nation. We will not be anywhere where our nation is not. Our nation's troubles and concerns are our priority.

It is we who will meet Bursa's expectations, complete its shortcomings, and draw a vision for our city. It is our duty to produce solutions for every kind of problem our citizens face.

Togg, which they claimed had no factory, which they claimed the vehicles were coming from Italy, which they even criticized for having its production line in Bursa, and which they wanted to bury alive just like they did to the Devrim car, continues to make its competitors jealous with its increasing production capacity, thank God. I wish our battery factory to be beneficial to our city already.

Bursa has once again said trust and stability. Those who had different calculations regarding our country have suffered a very heavy disappointment with the support of Bursa.

We leave the incompetent and ambitious people, who see opposition as hostility toward service, works, and investment, alone in their own shallow worlds.

Those who talked about governing Turkey together until 8 months ago are now saying everything imaginable to each other and are fighting morning and night.

"...WE ARE GOING THROUGH SAD DAYS"

Not a day goes by that we do not witness a scandal or a political maneuver that makes us, as a nation, blush. We are truly going through sad days in the name of our country's politics.

By embracing our citizens who define themselves as opposition and by listening to their voices, we will not allow our national unity and solidarity to be disrupted. I would like to thank all my fellow citizens of Bursa in your person from the bottom of my heart. May the Lord make our solidarity and affection permanent.

For us, seats and titles are not an end. They are a means to serve our nation in the best way possible.

We do not have part-time mayors who neglect their cities. We do not have mayors who only remember their voters from election to election. If, by chance, such a mayor emerges, we will be the ones to hold them accountable before the nation, and we will be the ones to end their tenure."
