AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commemorated Necmettin Erbakan with a post on his social media account.
Erdoğan included the following statements in his post:
"I remember with mercy our former Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan, a man of science, state, and politics who dedicated his life to his country and nation, on the anniversary of his passing to the afterlife. May the Lord grant him a place in heaven and elevate his station."
