The continuation of the ceasefire achieved in Gaza through the initiatives of American President Mr. Trump and the contributions of leading regional countries is of utmost importance not only for the Palestinian people but for the peace of the entire world.
According to United Nations data, the destruction caused by Israel in Gaza has set back Palestine's development efforts by at least 70 years. Unfortunately, in Gaza, we have witnessed the destruction not only of the superstructure but also of the environment.
It is impossible to compensate for the loss of over 70 thousand children, women, and innocent adults, nor is it possible to erase the wound it has opened in the minds of future generations.
At this stage, it is essential that both humanitarian aid activities in Gaza be accelerated and reconstruction efforts be initiated without delay.
