President Erdoğan to visit Algeria tomorrow

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Algeria tomorrow at the invitation of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to attend the Second Meeting of the Turkey-Algeria High-Level Cooperation Council.

According to a statement from the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, the Council Meeting will be held in the capital, Algiers, under the chairmanship of the two presidents and with the participation of the relevant ministers.

During the meetings to be held within the scope of the summit, Turkey-Algeria relations, which have gained significant momentum in recent times, will be reviewed in all aspects, and steps that can be taken to further deepen cooperation between the two countries will be discussed.

In addition to bilateral relations, views will be exchanged on regional and global issues, primarily the Israeli attacks in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

It is also expected that various agreements and memoranda of understanding that will make significant contributions to the legal framework of Turkey-Algeria relations will be signed on the occasion of the Council Meeting.
