President Erdoğan: We will not allow any terrorist organization to come between us and our goals

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, accompanied by Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, Commander of the Air Forces General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, and Commander of the Land Forces General Metin Tokel, on the last day of the year in Polatlat the Artilleryand Missile School Commandmet with soldierson duty. Minister Yaşar Güler celebrated the soldiers' new year, while President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also addressed the soldiers by phone.

AKP Chairmanthecommandand to President Erdoğan, "It is with great satisfaction that I observe our personnel receiving the best possible training at our class school, enhancing their professional qualifications and becomingready forduty, and I note withgreat pleasure that they arewe have witnessed. On this occasion, we celebrate your Excellency's new year with our mostsincere wishes," said Minister Güler, and thento receive his instructions,he handed the floor to President Erdoğan.

President Erdoğan celebrated the soldiers' new year and said the following to them:

"The Turkish ArmedValued members of our Armed Forces, Artilleryand Missile School Commandin ourheroic soldiers on duty, dear trainees, I greet you with my most heartfelt feelingsand affection. As we leave behinda milestone year,with great hopes and great dreams for the year 2026we are entering.We are preparing to welcome the year. In your person, Isincerely congratulate all our soldiers and theiresteemed families on the new calendar year. I hope that the year 2026will be a source of goodness for our heroic army and all of oursecurityunits.I wish for the glorious crescent toremain in the sky. to wave like the dawn, Icommemorate all our martyrs whosacrificed their lives without blinking an eyewith mercy and gratitude. I rememberour veterans whopaid the price for the survival of our homeland and the future and independence of our nation, and I also sincerely wish a happy new year to the families of ourmartyrs."

In addition to fostering a love for the military profession among ournovice sergeants and privates, it stands out with its effortsin almost every area related to educationand training,impressing with its work.I congratulate you. May the Almighty always make you victorious and successful, and I want you to know that the nationhas always been proud of youin every way. I especially want you to know this. Wehave taken steps to strengthenthe domestic front.President Erdoğan, who said,"While on one hand weare strengthening our internal front, on theother hand, we are taking game-changing steps in every field, especially in the defense industry.With our Altay tanks, Fırtına howitzers,ATAK helicopters, and armed andunarmed unmanned aerial vehiclesvehicleswith our missiles, whose range wecontinuouslyincrease,with our own capabilities,with our air defense systems we have developed, our warships, our submarines, our unmanned maritimevehicles,in other words, with everything related to defenseThank God, we are in a period of greatbreakthroughsin all areas. Despite very serious difficulties and obstacles,we have seized a historicopportunityto transform these gains we have achieved into lasting successes. With a little more patience, a little more effort, andstruggle,God willing, we will surely bring this noble nation to the bright future it more than deserves," he said.

Stating that they will not allow any terrorist organization in Turkey, President Erdoğan said, "We will proudly hand over the New Turkey, the strong and great Turkey, to the generations after us as a sacred trust, connecting it with all its elements. Regardless of its name, its claims, or the values it exploits, we will not allow any terrorist organization to come between us and our goals. We will not allow it."us.
