Important messages from President Erdoğan after Cabinet meeting: A Turkish wind is blowing in the world

Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's statements:

We are continuing the "Ramadan at the Külliye" program this year, which we launched last year and which received great interest from our nation. Our colleagues have prepared a full program that will attract the interest of people of all ages, from book stands to children's activities, and from conferences to concerts, and will especially add excitement to our children's enthusiasm.

I invite parents, especially on weekends, to hold their children's and grandchildren's hands and attend the events at our Külliye.

I once again wish for Ramadan-i Sharif to bring peace to our homes and unity and prosperity to our country; I pray to my Lord that our prayers are accepted in the divine presence.

WISHED SUCCESS TO NEW CABINET MEMBERS

We carried out a small-scale revision in our cabinet last week. Handover ceremonies were held at our Ministries of Interior and Justice, and our colleagues have started their new duties.

Our brother Akın Gürlek has taken over the position of Minister of Justice. Our brother Mustafa Çiftçi will serve as the Minister of Interior. I wish both of my brothers success in their new duties from Almighty Allah; I hope their duties will be auspicious and beneficial.

I sincerely believe that they will carry out their duties properly with new energy and new excitement, and with the awareness of the heavy burden on their shoulders.

I thank our brothers Yılmaz Tunç and Ali Yerlikaya, who served our state and nation for two and a half years, for their sacrifices, and I say may the Almighty Lord be pleased with both of our Ministers. I believe that our colleagues who have handed over their duties will always be by the side of our newly appointed ministers and will use their experience and knowledge to further increase the collective success of our government. We will continue to be with them on different platforms, to work together, and to always protect and observe our law of brotherhood and friendship.

Since our last Cabinet meeting, we have continued our journey of serving our country with a very busy agenda in domestic politics and foreign policy. In a period when global tensions are escalating, as Turkey, we are striving for the resolution of crises before they turn into hot conflicts with our policy that centers on peace, dialogue, and negotiation.

Without forgetting that we are members of a nation that is great with its history, great with its conscience, and great with the epics it has written on battlefields when necessary, we defend rights and justice wherever they may be in the world; we courageously speak the truth without fearing anyone.

Our country's upright, courageous, sincere, and principled stance in the face of events is also followed with appreciation in the international community.

I want our dear nation and all our brothers in our region to know this: In this period when severe fractures are being experienced in the world system, Turkey's sole purpose is to increase the number of its friends and gain new friendships.

We are not in pursuit of producing hostility from disagreements. We are not in the calculation of magnifying disputes or deepening problems. While respecting the sovereign rights of countries, we expect everyone to show the same respect for our rights and laws.

A Turkish wind is blowing in the world. People are curious about what we think, what we do, where we stand in the face of new developments, and what steps we will take.
