President Erdoğan's 'Syria' message following cabinet meeting

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements following the Cabinet Meeting.

Unlike those who run away from yesterday and avoid accounting to the nation, we are a team that has made it a principle to account to the nation. As the most concrete indicator of this, we recently shared a summary of our service record for the year 2025 with the public.

In these days when our children are entering their semester break and experiencing the excitement of receiving their report cards, we have also presented the report card of the past year to the appreciation of our beloved nation. Although we encounter difficulties from time to time, we continue our journey of serving our nation with firm, determined, and stable steps.

"WE HAVE MOBILIZED ALL OUR RESOURCES"

We have mobilized all our resources to elevate Turkey in every field, to bring it into a new era, and to bring it one step closer to its sacred goals.

We are determined to revitalize every corner of this sacred homeland and to deliver the resources of the Republic of Turkey fairly to every single individual in this country. I want to underline this in particular: Every brother and sister living in this country, whether they voted for us or not, is equally worthy of service and respect in our eyes. Engaging in regionalism or dividing our people according to their political views, origins, or voting preferences has never had a place in our book.

"WE SPEAK WITH OUR WORKS"

We always speak not with our words, but with our works. My dear brothers and sisters, today we are proud to bring another investment to our capital, Ankara, that symbolizes the vision of a New Turkey.

I hope that the third runway and the new air traffic control tower at Esenboğa Airport, which we opened for service before our cabinet meeting, will be auspicious and beneficial.

We cannot leave the capital of Turkey to the mercy of a mentality that condemns our citizens to unrest, water shortages, and queues for weeks. Those who spend their energy on producing excuses instead of solutions to problems, on blaming everyone but themselves, and on threatening members of the press who are doing their jobs; they can never break our passion for serving our cities.

It is well known to everyone who comes to mind when polarization, crisis opportunism, fear-mongering, and incompetence are mentioned in this country. It is also well known who in this country has a service record full of 'excellent' marks, and whose record is known for failures, poor grades, and black marks.

We believe that a unified and integrated Syria, possessing territorial integrity, is indispensable for the region. Syria belongs to everyone: Arabs, Turkmens, and Kurds.
