Presidential Cabinet meets

The Presidential Cabinet, chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, met with counter-terrorism, the economy, and regional developments as the main agenda items.

The Presidential Cabinet met at Beştepe under the chairmanship of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 

While counter-terrorism formed the main agenda item of the meeting, the economy and regional developments were also among the topics to be discussed.

At the meeting, the operations launched following the attack on the Ankara Kahramankazan facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) will be evaluated in detail. In addition to the fight against terrorism, recent developments in the Middle East will also be on the Cabinet's agenda. A comprehensive analysis will be conducted, particularly regarding the rising tension on the Iran-Israel and Israel-Lebanon lines.

The potential effects of the regional crisis on Turkey will also be discussed in detail.

ECONOMY ON THE TABLE 

At the Cabinet meeting, recent developments in the economy and new steps to be taken in the fight against inflation will also be discussed. The reduction of inflation to single digits, measures taken regarding investment, employment, and price stability, and the current situation will be evaluated at the meeting. Furthermore, issues such as hoarding, penalties to be applied against exorbitant prices, and opportunism will also be addressed.

NEWBORN GANG ALSO ON THE AGENDA 

In the Cabinet, the latest developments regarding the 'newborn gang' that turned neonatal intensive care units in Istanbul into commercial enterprises will also be evaluated. Information will be provided on the current status of the fight being waged against the criminal organization.
