Official budget figures regarding the Presidency's security expenses revealed that 2 billion 932 million 739 thousand 458 TL was spent by the Presidential Protection Department in 2025. Thus, the average monthly expenditure for protection services rose to the level of 244 million 300 thousand liras.

According to the report in Sözcü, it was emphasized that an amount equivalent to approximately 290 minimum wages was spent in just one day. These figures indicate that the budget allocated by the Presidency for security services is increasing every year.
In 2024, it was recorded that 2 billion 291 million 140 thousand 993 TL was spent from the same item. Thus, there was an increase of approximately 640 million TL in the protection budget within one year. The rise observed over the last five years demonstrates that the spending trend in this area continues.
