Pro-government Cem Küçük: 'We are friends with Akın Gürlek'
Cem Küçük, a pro-government figure known for his closeness to the administration and for announcing names to be targeted by operations days in advance, stated that he and Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek are friends. Küçük called on Akın Gürlek to take action regarding 'February 28' and announced that an operation targeting the media regarding the Gezi protests is coming.

Pro-government Türkiye newspaper columnist Cem Küçük made statements during a program he attended on Ekol TV. Stating that he is friends with Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek, the figure behind recent operations, Küçük said they have known each other since the December 17-25 operations.
Cem Küçük also commented on Akın Gürlek in his column today. Writing a column titled "Mr. Akın Gürlek, you can touch the media and civil wing of February 28!", Küçük called Akın Gürlek a 'courageous man of law' and used the following words:
"Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek is a courageous man of law. He has begun to hold those responsible for the Gezi terror acts to account. The media wing of Gezi will be rounded up soon. Hearts are cooling. But Mr. Chief Prosecutor, only a courageous man of law like you can hold the civil and media wing of February 28 to account."
