Prof. Dr. Görür issues warning after Bingöl earthquake: High stress accumulation
Seismologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made a statement regarding the 4.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Kiğı district of Bingöl. Görür stated, "There is a high accumulation of stress in the region where the earthquake occurred."

In a statement made on his social media account regarding the Bingöl earthquake that occurred on May 26, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür noted the following:
"A 4.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Demirkanat-Kiğı-Bingöl. The earthquake is close to the Karlıova fault junction, likely within the Yedisu zone. There is a high accumulation of stress in the region where the earthquake occurred. Get well soon."
