Prominent businessman Halit Yukay goes missing at sea: Yacht found broken apart
The yacht belonging to Halit Yukay, the well-known businessman and owner of Mazu Yachts, who set sail from Yalova bound for the Greek island of Mykonos, has been found split in two off Marmara Island in Balıkesir. Search-and-rescue teams are continuing operations to find the missing businessman.

According to information obtained, businessman Halit Yukay, owner of Mazu Yachts, set sail from Yalova on his yacht yesterday morning heading for Mykonos. However, after he could not be reached for an extended period, his relatives notified the authorities.
The luxury yacht belonging to Yukay was found broken apart in the Sea of Marmara, off Marmara Island in Balıkesir. The yacht was reported to be drifting in the sea, split in two.
SEARCH-AND-RESCUE OPERATIONS ONGOING
Halit Yukay has yet to be reached, while search-and-rescue teams dispatched to the area under the coordination of the Coast Guard Command are continuing their intensive operations. No findings related to Yukay have been encountered so far in searches conducted at sea and along the surrounding coastline.
Authorities stated that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
