Prosecutor's statement revealed: Oğuzhan Uğur discloses his monthly income

Recently, allegations surfaced that donations collected for the AHBAP Association were transferred to the private accounts of association executives. As part of the investigation launched to look into these claims, Babala TV founder Oğuzhan Uğur, who broadcasts on YouTube, was detained at his home. Following his processing at the police station, the information contained in Uğur's statement drew attention.

DETAILS REGARDING HIS INCOME

In his statement to the police, Oğuzhan Uğur stated that his monthly income varies between 150,000 TL and 400,000 TL. Noting that his earnings are derived from Babala TV activities and specifically from advertisements, Uğur said, "I am currently employed at Babala TV with social security coverage. I have a monthly income of around 150,000-400,000 TL. However, this income fluctuates depending on the advertisements received."

NO CONNECTION TO DONATIONS OR THE AHBAP ASSOCIATION

In his statement, Oğuzhan Uğur emphasized that he has no connection to the Ahbap Association. Uğur stated, "I have had no suspicions that donations made to the Ahbap Association were used for purposes other than their intended use. I have not witnessed any irregularities. Since we have no connection with any association or Haluk Levent, we have no information beyond what is in the media reports."

Uğur also stated that he does not know any members of the association other than Haluk Levent. He added that he performed at an event organized in İzmir in 2018 regarding forest fires, which was attended by many artists, and that he has no other relationship with the association.

"I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE USE OF DONATIONS"

Oğuzhan Uğur stated that his remarks regarding depositing money into the Ahbap Association were misunderstood: "I made statements in general about donating to all aid organizations. Since I have no ties to the Ahbap Association, it is impossible for me to know where the donated money is used."

STATEMENT REGARDING HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HALUK LEVENT

Uğur stated that he has not met with Haluk Levent in person since 2023; he noted that in 2024 and 2025, he only spoke with him by phone three times, and these conversations were not related to Ahbap or donation matters. Denying the accusations directed at him, Uğur maintained that he has not engaged in any irregularities or illegal activities.
