Prosecutor's questioning of 22 suspects in Narin Güran murder case completed

The 22 suspects detained in the Narin Güran murder case in Diyarbakır have been referred to the Duty Magistrate Court following the completion of their 12-hour questioning by the prosecutor.

The investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 and whose lifeless body was found in a stream during search operations on September 8. 

As part of the investigation, on September 8, the day Narin's body was found, 22 individuals were detained, including Narin's father Arif Güran (44), mother Yüksel Güran (44), brother E.G. (18), uncles Ö.F.G. (29), B.G. (37), F.G. (42), K.G. (31), M.G. (40), H.İ.G., cousins U.G. (24) and O.G. (23), cousins M.G. (15) and B.G. (19), cousin's son D.G. (22), aunts-in-law M.G. (46) and M.G. (39), aunt A.K. (40), uncle-in-law M.Ş., Salim Güran's workers Ö.Y. and M.S. (40), the worker's 15-year-old son M.K. (23), and one other person whose name has not been disclosed. 

The suspects, whose interrogations at the gendarmerie were completed, were brought to the Diyarbakır Courthouse around 06:00 this morning. The suspects, whose questioning by the prosecutor lasted approximately 12 hours, have been referred to the Duty Magistrate Court.
