With a decision signed by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek and Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya and published in the Official Gazette, the assets of 62 individuals and 20 institutions have been frozen on the grounds that they "provided financing to the PKK."

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance's decision to freeze assets has been published in the Official Gazette with the signatures of Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya. The decision states that the assets of 62 individuals and 20 legal entities, such as foundations and associations, have been frozen on charges of "terror financing."

The decision, which notes that the implementation is within the scope of Law No. 6415 on the "Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism," includes the statement: "In accordance with the 4th paragraph of Article 7 of Law No. 6415, an objection may be filed against this decision to the relevant Ankara Criminal Court in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code."

 The legal entities whose assets have been frozen operate in Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, Italy, Norway, Iraq, Syria, Germany, and Australia.
