Published in the Official Gazette: Exemption for disabled individuals purchasing vehicles increased

The Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has published the Communiqué on Amendments to the General Communiqué on the Implementation of the Special Consumption Tax (List II) in a duplicate issue of the Official Gazette. 

The "exemption not requiring vehicle modification" granted to those with a disability rating of over 90 percent and the exemption to be applied to "vehicle purchases by those with a disability rating below 90 percent" have been increased from 1 million 591 thousand 20 TL to 2 million 290 thousand 200 TL.

According to the communiqué, the phrases "1 million 591 thousand 200 TL" in paragraphs II/C/1.2.1 (Exemption Application Not Requiring Vehicle Modification) and II/C/1.3 (Exemption for Vehicle Purchases by Those with a Disability Rating Below 90 Percent) have been revised to "2 million 290 thousand 200 TL," and the phrase "1 million 591 thousand 200 TL" in the third paragraph of section II/C/5.1 has been revised to "2 million 290 thousand 200 TL."
