Published in the Official Gazette: Midnight appointment and dismissal decisions by Erdoğan

Appointments made by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan have been published in the Official Gazette.

New appointment decisions have been published in the Official Gazette.

According to the decisions published with the signature of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, 29 senior public officials at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change were dismissed. A total of 70 new appointments were made to senior public management positions within the ministry.

With the decision, Nuri Kaya Bakkalbaşı was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Nicaragua.

Arzu Kalkan, Deputy General Manager of the State Opera and Ballet, was dismissed from her post.

In the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Betül Kiminsu, Deputy General Manager of Cultural Heritage and Museums, was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Libraries and Publications, while Cennet Ceylan was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Cultural Heritage and Museums.

Additionally, Prof. Dr. Osman Mert was appointed as the President of the Turkish Language Association. In the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Mehmet Nuri Yılmaz, Deputy General Manager of Fisheries and Aquaculture, was dismissed.

Within the ministry, Sezai Cibelik was appointed as Deputy General Manager of Food and Control, İhsan Emiralioğlu as Deputy General Manager of Crop Production, Abdulkadir Karabulut and Mehmet Kilci as Deputy General Managers of Agricultural Reform, and Kerim Güllü as Deputy General Manager of Personnel.

Kadir Çokçetin was appointed as the General Manager of Nature Conservation and National Parks. Onur Sarı was appointed to the vacant position of Deputy General Manager of Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
