Published in the Official Gazette: New members of the Council of State and the Court of Cassation announced

According to the decision on the election of members to the Council of State published in the Official Gazette, Ankara Administrative Court President Gülten Hatipoğlu and Istanbul Regional Administrative Court President Recep Yılmaz Korkmaz were elected.

According to the decision on the election of members to the Council of State by the General Assembly of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors published in the Official Gazette, following the deliberation on filling vacant membership positions in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Council of State Law No. 2575 and the 17th paragraph of the Provisional Article 27, it was decided to elect Ankara Administrative Court President Gülten Hatipoğlu and Istanbul Regional Administrative Court President Recep Yılmaz Korkmaz as members of the Council of State.

ANKARA CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR GÖKHAN KARAKÖSE ELECTED AS MEMBER OF THE COURT OF CASSATION

According to the decision on the election of a member to the Court of Cassation published in the Official Gazette, Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse was elected.

According to the decision on the election of a member to the Court of Cassation by the General Assembly of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors published in the Official Gazette, in accordance with the letter dated 22.05.2026 and numbered 21167910/4902 from the First Presidency of the Court of Cassation reporting that 4 Court of Cassation membership positions had become vacant, and pursuant to Articles 29 and Provisional Article 15 of the Court of Cassation Law No. 2797, it was decided to elect Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor Gökhan Karaköse as a member of the Court of Cassation.
