QR code security coming to notary transactions

The misuse of the regulation that allowed the transfer of real estate and land to be conducted through notaries as of July 4, 2023, has prompted the Ministry of Justice to take action.
QR CODE REQUIREMENT COMING TO NOTARY DOCUMENTS
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced in his speech at the Workshop on Increasing the Effectiveness of Civil Courts that significant changes will be made to applications such as UYAP, e-hearing, e-notification, and e-notary.
The most notable of these regulations is the announcement that the QR code requirement, which has been used on many official documents in recent years, will also come into effect for notaries. With the change to be made, it will be possible for buyers and sellers to conduct transactions more securely in title deed transfers and the sale of various real estate properties.
