Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who produces the ROK program on En Son Haber's YouTube channel, made highly controversial remarks about journalist Fatih Altaylı.

Claiming that Fatih Altaylı, who criticizes the AKP government and the education system in Turkey, is 'opposition-looking,' Kütahyalı used insulting language toward his colleague.

"HE IS THE NUMBER ONE SOLDIER OF TAYYİP ERDOĞAN"

Stating, "Fatih Altaylı is the number one soldier of Tayyip Erdoğan in opposition clothing," Kütahyalı said, "He is a man who speaks so stupidly and ignorantly. He says, 'It started to deteriorate from the 50s onwards.' There were no schools before the 50s, man. The numbers are clear. He should ask İlber Ortaylı; İlber Ortaylı used to say, 'Turkey's true modernization and westernization began in 50.' There were no schools before that."

Kütahyalı continued as follows;

"Fatih Altaylı, who has never read a book in his life while hanging out with Celal Şengör and such. Fatih Altaylı, look, everyone you have worked with knows that you don't read books, my brother. Your former editors-in-chief, your former bosses, both Turgay Ciner and Aydın Doğan, know that you are ignorant, my brother.

You did that program to satisfy your intellectual complexes. It was also useful. 'Teke Tek Bilim' was the most correct thing you have ever done in your life. Even there, Celal Şengör and İlber Ortaylı are actually fossils according to today's universal scientific origins. But they were still useful in Turkey. Because they made a lot of young people curious about what science is."
