Re-arrest warrant issued for individual who assaulted 7-year-old child in Tuzla!

A 7-year-old child playing with friends in front of a shopping center parking lot in the Şifa neighborhood of Tuzla district was attacked by an individual on the grounds that they were "making noise," and the attacker, A.K., was subsequently arrested. The suspect was released on October 21 under judicial control measures.

Following the circulation of footage related to the incident on social media, the Ministry of Justice issued a statement. The Ministry announced that a re-arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, A.K.

The statement made by the Ministry is as follows:

"The suspect, A.K., who committed violence against a child playing in the parking lot of a shopping center in the Tuzla district of Istanbul, was arrested on September 9, 2024, for the crime of 'intentional injury' within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Furthermore, judicial control measures were applied to the suspect, against whom a public lawsuit was also filed, by the Istanbul Anatolian 42nd Criminal Court of First Instance on October 21, 2024.

Upon the emergence of new footage regarding the incident, the Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the court's decision, and a re-arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect."
