The couple expressed their reaction by asking, "Why are we paying so much money for a 5-minute procedure?" Finding the wedding fee charged by the municipality to be high, the couple remarked, "Instead of the municipality giving us money, they are taking money from us. In these times, even 100 liras is very important, but you need 3 thousand liras just to get married."
