In Kütahya, it was determined that the 'Daltons' criminal organization was behind two separate armed assault incidents. An operation codenamed "Redkit" was carried out against members of the gang led by Barış Boyun.

DETERMINED TO BE THE 'DALTONS'

Teams from the Kütahya Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch launched an investigation into the attack on Mustafa A. (38) at an auto accessories shop on May 13, and the shooting of car dealer İdris E. (38) on October 23. As a result of technical and physical surveillance, it was determined that the 'Daltons' criminal organization was behind the incidents.

The members of the gang, who identify themselves as the 'Daltons', came to Kütahya in exchange for money to act as hitmen under the guise of "debt collection." In a simultaneous operation targeting the gang members involved in the incidents—identified as O.K., A.K., İ.E., H.E., M.K., S.İ., Y.S., K.D., R.K., and A.A.—6 suspects were detained in Kütahya and 4 suspects were detained in Istanbul.

5 MILLION LIRA WORTH OF REAL ESTATE AND VEHICLES SEIZED

During the searches, 3 handguns and 10 checks worth 292 thousand lira were seized. Additionally, real estate and vehicles worth 5 million lira, believed to have been obtained through criminal activity by the gang members, were confiscated. The suspects, who were detained on charges of 'qualified extortion,' were referred to the courthouse following their processing at the police station.

RAID ON A THERMAL HOTEL

During the operation, another wanted suspect, H.B., was spotted among the suspects brought to the courthouse and was detained at a tea house.

The suspects Bektaş Ç. and Kamil A. were apprehended during a police raid on the thermal hotel where they were staying. The gang members' involvement in the assault and shooting incidents at the two shops was captured on security cameras. The investigation is ongoing.
