Release decision in 'fake diploma' case
In the trial of 199 defendants accused of creating forged documents by copying the signatures of public institution officials, 5 detained defendants, including the network leader known as "Ziya Hoca," have been released.

In Ankara, the court has decided to release 5 detained defendants in the case against a 199-person network that created fake diplomas and driver's licenses by copying the electronic signatures of public institution officials.
Among those granted release are Ziya Kadiroğlu, nicknamed 'Ziya Hoca,' who is alleged to be the leader of the network, and Mıhyeddin Yakışır, who allegedly obtained a fake ID in the name of a narcotics chief inspector.
In May, a lawsuit was filed against 134 people for creating documents such as fake university and high school diplomas and driver's licenses by using the electronic signatures of public institution officials.
With a second indictment completed in July, 65 more people were added to the case, bringing the total number of defendants to 199. The case is being heard at the Ankara 23rd Criminal Court of First Instance.
5 DETAINED DEFENDANTS RELEASED
The court decided to release 5 detained defendants, including Ziya Kadiroğlu, known as 'Ziya Hoca.' Other defendants released include Gökay Celal Gülen, Mıhyeddin Yakışır, Yalçın Maraşlı, and one other individual.
