Making statements regarding the current agenda, Akpınar also shared a remarkable comment about CHP leader Özgür Özel.

Akpınar stated, "There will definitely be a new breath. There has to be. You know that last exit before the bridge? This is it. Therefore, the CHP and opposition parties in general need to pull themselves together and produce politics in response to whatever is missing in our country. I trust my friends; they all have inexhaustible dynamos. Özgür Özel is like that, Veli Ağbaba is like that. Mr. İmamoğlu is like that too. May their dynamos never run out. Let that energy spread so we can wage a war for a new revival, a new development, and a new stability."
