Remarkable statement on SDF from MHP's Semih Yalçın: 'Those who do not fall into line with a reprimand deserve...'

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın made statements regarding the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is the Syrian extension of the terrorist organization PKK.

Stating that the SDF has not yet reached the desired position and that the security risk on Turkey's southern borders persists, Yalçın noted that the process would be conducted through diplomacy and advice in the first stage.

Continuing his assessments in this context, Yalçın stated that "the path of diplomacy will be followed first, and advice will be resorted to," while emphasizing that if the process does not yield results, Turkey will not hesitate to take the necessary steps.

In his statement, Semih Yalçın used the following expressions: "However, those who do not learn with advice will not be praised, but reprimanded. And those who do not fall into line with a reprimand deserve a beating. Turkey possesses the will and power to deal with those who do not get on the right path. Turkey has the power to eliminate the Syrian branch of the PKK, as well as all other terrorist elements such as ISIS and FETÖ, forever. Turkey has the resolve to remove all threats to its existence and destroy all dangers. The fate of those who do not understand advice and diplomacy is, of course, to perish. The authority that should show the real resolve here on behalf of the Turkish nation is the political will. The political will is already fulfilling its requirements completely."

Continuing his statement, Yalçın called for support for the political will and said the following:

"All legitimate political parties and legal entities must support the political will. Because a Terror-Free Turkey is a national issue. The political will's move for a Terror-Free Turkey must primarily be supported by Turkish nationalists. Turkish nationalists do not have the luxury of whining or hiding behind various excuses. Claiming to be a Turkish nationalist and then joining the demolition team is equivalent to treason. The real treason is to lead our nation to despair with lies that we are dead, finished, and destroyed. The real treason is to baselessly instill fear and hopelessness in the public. It is doomsaying. True treason is to oppose social peace and efforts to end terrorism. Real treason is to hinder efforts to ensure internal peace in order to be stronger abroad."
