The Ankara Governor's Office has announced that it has issued instructions to the Ankara Police Department to implement a court order regarding the CHP Headquarters, following an application by Celal Çelik, the lawyer for Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

In the statement issued by the Governor's Office, attention was drawn to the May 21, 2026, decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice 36th Civil Chamber and the notification and receipt documents in the Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Office file.

The statement read: "In accordance with the decision of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice 36th Civil Chamber dated 21.05.2026, numbered 2026/32 Basis and 2026/658 Decision, and the notification and receipt documents issued in the Ankara 3rd General Enforcement Office file numbered 2026/33826; it was reported by Republican People's Party Counsel Lawyer Celal Çelik in his application to the Ankara Police Department that the court order was not being complied with. CHP Counsel Lawyer Celal Çelik requested that the necessary procedures be carried out for the CHP Headquarters to be handed over to the authorities based on the court order. Instructions have been given to the Ankara Police Department regarding the fulfillment of the court order."
