İYİ Party Founders' Board member and 27th Term Istanbul Deputy Ümit Beyaz has announced his resignation from the party.
Sharing the news on his social media account, Beyaz stated, "I am terminating my party membership as of today out of concern for not being a burden to my fellow travelers."
Beyaz said the following:
"My precious friends, my fellow comrades. I carried out my duties as a member of the Founders' Board and Istanbul Deputy of the İYİ Party, whose goals and journey I joined from the very beginning with an understanding that prioritizes my country and my nation, with great excitement and pride. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our entire nation, especially the devoted members of our organization, who walked with us and showed their favor during this process. In order to protect the law of brotherhood, which I have always considered indispensable, and out of concern for not being a burden to my fellow travelers, I am terminating my party membership as of today. Thank God, I have never been involved in a single act that would make you bow your heads in shame, and I will not be in the future either. Please forgive me, and I forgive you."
