Resignation earthquake continues in İYİ Party
In Mersin, İYİ Party Tarsus District Chair Burak Özdil announced his resignation. In his statement, Özdil said, "The point we have reached shows us that we have not been able to achieve the political success we desired."

Another resignation news has come from the İYİ Party. Tarsus District Chair Burak Özdil stated that he was not successful and made the following statement:
My dear board member friends, my valuable fellow travelers, we have spent a long and tiring period of over two years with you. We did great things together. We were in solidarity together. We laughed, we had fun, and when the time came, we were sad together.
I was honored and proud to walk these paths with you. I owe a debt of gratitude to every single friend who stayed together and stood together from the first day to the last moment. I am glad you exist. I am glad we walked these paths together. However, the point we have reached shows us that we have not been able to achieve the political success we desired.
It is necessary to do what is required by this result, to pave the way for new ideas and new faces, and to contribute to the development of democracy. With these feelings and thoughts, as of April 1, 2024, I have resigned from my position as İYİ Party Tarsus District Chair. Please forgive me. If I have any rights over you, I forgive them.
