Aci family responds to Demirören allegations regarding Eylem Tok case: 'The police will be next'

On March 1, 2024, at approximately 23:50 in Eyüpsultan, a car driven by 17-year-old T.C. struck individuals attempting to repair a broken-down ATV on the side of the road, resulting in the death of Oğuz Murat Aci. Subsequently, his mother, Eylem Tok, smuggled her son T.C. first to Egypt and then to the USA.

A striking allegation has been raised regarding the day of the accident. İlker, a driver for Yıldırım Demirören's wife, Revna Demirören, reportedly called DHA reporter Rojda Altıntaş while she was covering the incident, warning her that T.C., who caused the accident, was a friend of the Demirören family's child. Following this, Altıntaş published the news in a censored manner, as if it were a simple traffic accident.

Following this report, which was published on March 3, the accident became a major topic on Turkey's agenda on March 5. After the allegations surfaced, Oğuz Murat Aci's father, Özer Aci, spoke to 12punto.com.tr.

"HE MIGHT BE GIVING A STATEMENT UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME"

Özer Aci said the following regarding the incident coming to light days later:

"It is not entirely clear whether the Demirören child was actually a friend of the boy here, or if they are involved in the incident. After this stage, all sorts of things come to mind. The Demirören child might have been there, or they might have found someone else to replace him. Suspicion breeds suspicion. But I have defended this from the very beginning. They silenced the press, they stopped the press, and my instincts have always been right so far. I said this was done by the children of the other 9 families, not Bülent Cihantimur. But if you notice, even if the Demirören child wasn't there, his friends are protecting him. Let them come out and talk, let's see how long they can keep talking."

"THEY LIVE IN THE SAME COMPOUND"

Aci continued his words as follows:

"This child was never mentioned in the report. There is no such name in the reports. The children's statements have already been copy-pasted from one another. They probably found a lawyer for the children's statements and told them, 'Blame Timur Cihantimur,' that is the essence of the incident.

That child and Timur Cihantimur live in the same compound, and that compound is already the Demirören family's compound.

What I don't understand is, I went on a live broadcast on CNN, and you don't let them air it; excuse me, but you are sticking your nose into it. Why do you let it be aired later, and why don't you bring me on a live broadcast as a grieving father? There is inconsistency here as well."

"THE POLICE WILL BE NEXT"
