Response to Perinçek's 'Neither the army nor the police would accept a CHP government': 'Shut your mouth, you insolent man'

Vatan Party Chairman Doğu Perinçek had commented on the possibility of the CHP coming to power, saying, "No one would seat a party that is a supporter of the PKK at the top of Ankara. Neither the army would accept it, nor would the police." The CHP's response to these remarks was harsh.

Vatan Party Chairman Doğu Perinçek made controversial statements while evaluating the possibility of the CHP coming to power during a program he attended on Flash TV.

Perinçek stated, "Even if the CHP gets 90 percent of the vote, it cannot come to power. The people will not give this support, nor will the army, nor will the police. Even if the people vote for it, in the final analysis, neither the army nor the police would accept it."

Perinçek also claimed that for the CHP to come to power, the US would have to occupy Turkey.

HARSH STATEMENT FROM THE CHP

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır responded to Perinçek's statements on his X account.

Başarır wrote the following:

Doğu Perinçek, that shameless man who has mortgaged his will to the government and its supporters, who is politically brain-dead and a political senile, has used nonsensical sentences about our party.

What is it? Even if the Republican People's Party gets 90% of the vote, some forces would not bring us to power. Neither your power nor the power of your masters is enough for that.

You will know your place! You will think not once, but a thousand times before taking the name and will of our party and the voters in our country into your mouth!

Tassel of Kandil! Shut your mouth, know your place! You insolent man!
