Results of KONDA's youth research announced: Conservatism is on the decline
According to Konda's youth research, 71 percent of young people are dissatisfied with education, and 56 percent state that they want to live abroad. The report also states that conservatism is in decline.

The results of the "Social Values and Youth on the Threshold of the Second Century" research, conducted under the leadership of the Hisar Schools Center for Human and Society Research and in cooperation with Konda Research, have been shared.
According to the report by Figen Atalay from Cumhuriyet, the results of the research, in which 3 thousand 147 people were interviewed in 78 provinces, including 930 people between the ages of 15-29, are as follows:
The dissatisfaction rate with education in Turkey among young people aged 15-24, the majority of whom are students, is 71 percent.
As the income level of young people increases, their level of satisfaction with education in Turkey decreases.
Young people are of the opinion that gender equality is not at a sufficient level. 4 out of every 10 young people, and half of young women, think that women do not have equal opportunities with men.
According to 43 percent of young people, women do not have equal opportunities with men. This rate reaches 50 percent among young women.
"THERE IS NO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IN TURKEY"
56 percent of young people want to live abroad if they have the opportunity. This rate reaches 60 percent among those aged 15-24.
62 percent of modern young people and 50 percent of traditional conservatives hold this view.
Two-thirds of young people think that there is no freedom of expression in Turkey.
As the average age increases, the number of those who think they will have better conditions in the future decreases.
Young people prioritize "egalitarianism" and "defending human rights" at a higher rate than the general population of Turkey.
"Tolerance", "diligence" and "individualism" are slightly above the general average of Turkey.
"Honesty", "traditionalism", "localism/nationalism" and "hospitality" are values that are relatively losing their importance.
THE FIRST WORD THAT COMES TO MIND IS 'ATATÜRK'
44 percent of young people define themselves as "Atatürkist". The answer "nationalism" ranks second with 38 percent.
Although "conservatism" ranks third with 13 percent, it remains quite far behind in terms of proportion compared to the general population of Turkey.
Similarly, the rate of those who say they are "Islamist" is 10 percent, which is behind the general population of Turkey.
7 percent of young people defined themselves as socialist, and 7 percent as nationalist (ülkücü).
For 4 out of every 10 young people, the first word that comes to mind when "Republic" is mentioned is "Atatürk".
According to both the general population of Turkey and young people, the most important values of the Republic are "independence", "secularism" and "libertarianism".
In both the general population of Turkey and specifically among young people, only 1 in every 5 people thinks that the value of "libertarianism" is being realized.
The answers given to the question "What should be prioritized the most?" were as follows:
- Strong economy
- Ensuring justice
- World-class education
- Healthcare facilities
- Meritocracy
- Gender equality
- Environmental protection
