Following the terror attack on the TUSAŞ facilities located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara, Retired Lieutenant General Erdoğan Karakuş shared his assessments with 12Punto. Pointing out that the attack occurred after MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's remarks regarding Öcalan during his party's group meeting yesterday, Karakuş said, "From this hour on, it is necessary to be cautious for different locations as well."

Karakuş used the following expressions:

"THE FACT THAT THE TARGET IS TUSAŞ IS SIGNIFICANT"

"Yesterday, there were speeches by party leaders regarding terrorism. I think the PKK carried out this activity because there were some discussions as if terrorism existed within Turkey, even though it did not. We see that there has been no terrorist activity within Turkey for a long time. In this environment, the issue of terrorism within the country had ended. On the Syrian side, there is a force of around 60 thousand PKK members supported by the US. In this environment, it is significant that an attack was carried out on TUSAŞ, one of Turkey's most valuable locations, as if terrorism still existed within the country. It is necessary to be cautious for other locations from this hour on. We know that these types of activities especially follow political speeches."
