INTELLIGENCE-LED OPERATION CONDUCTED
Teams from the Provincial Security Directorate's Anti-Narcotics Crimes Branch launched an intelligence-led operation aimed at preventing the entry of drugs into the city.
As a result of technical and physical surveillance, information was obtained that retired police officer N.A. would be bringing drugs from Istanbul to Sakarya.
VEHICLE STOPPED ON D-100
Acting on the information obtained, the teams stopped the vehicle driven by the suspect N.A. at the Serdivan Esentepe location on the D-100 highway. A detailed search of the vehicle revealed a total of 5 kilograms of synthetic drugs in 5 separate packages.
SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Following the incident, retired police officer N.A. was taken into custody. It was learned that the suspect's processing at the police station is ongoing.
