Rixos hotels owner Fettah Tamince issues 'Epstein' statement: His name appeared in the documents

The name of Fettah Tamince appears in the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of running a child abuse and sex trafficking ring in the US, a case that has captured global attention. When asked about the incident and the emails from Sultan bin Sulayem, Tamince stated, "'He is my friend, he asked for a favor, and we carried it out.'"

The documents in question contain email correspondence from 2017 regarding the referral of young women to the Rixos Premium Belek Hotel in Antalya as "massage therapist interns."

Tamince spoke to journalist Kenan Taş, who was a guest on Cüneyt Özdemir's YouTube channel. Kenan Taş described his conversation with Fettah Tamince as follows:

"I had not spoken to him before. After these allegations, I sent him a message. I asked him what he thought about these claims. He messaged me back. He said he was on a plane and would return in the evening. He said he called me first after landing.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT HE IS?"

'What do you want to ask me?' he asked. I said, 'I want to ask about the parts of the Epstein files where your name is mentioned.' He said, 'What exactly do you want to ask?' I said there is an email sent to you by Sultan bin Sulayem. 'Do you know who he is?' he asked me. I said yes, I do. 'Do you know how important he is?' he said. I said, yes, Mr. Fettah, I know.

"HE IS MY FRIEND, HE ASKED FOR A FAVOR, AND WE CARRIED IT OUT"

Let's open a parenthesis here. Sultan bin Sulayem is a businessman from Dubai. He owns 10 percent of the world's container trade. He is a figure with assets in the range of 20 billion dollars. He is one of the world's biggest business people. 'He is my friend, he asked for a favor, and we carried it out,' he said. He stated that the situation was limited to that.

"I NEVER MET EPSTEIN"

Then I asked, 'Did you have any meetings or email traffic with Epstein?' Look, Mr. Kenan, I never met this man. I have no connection or contact with him in any way. Therefore, we have nothing to do with these things, he said. He stated that the process was one that started only because a close friend of ours, a person I value, asked us for a favor.

"REGARDS" ALSO QUESTIONED

I asked if he had a partnership with Sultan. He said there was no partnership. But he noted that he respects him and that he is an important business person. 'In the email your assistant sent to Epstein, he also conveys your regards. I asked if you told him to do that. He said he did not send it himself, that his assistant meets with dozens of people every day, and that it is normal for someone to receive and convey regards on his behalf.

THE SUSPICIOUS DEATH OF BURAK OĞRAŞ

The Rixos Hotels, owned by Tamince, are not only mentioned in connection with the Epstein documents. In 2011, Burak Oğraş, a 16-year-old child, was found dead in a pool while interning at Rixos. Tamince's statement was only taken 13 years after the suspicious death. The struggle for justice by Burak Oğraş's father, Murat Oğraş, continues regarding the incident, which the National Criminal Bureau, having provided a report on the file, described as 'murder.'
