Rojin Kabaiş's father seeks justice: 'Look after Rojin too'

Nizamettin Kabaiş, the father of 21-year-old university student Rojin Kabaiş, whose lifeless body was found 18 days after she went missing in Van, went to the front of the Diyarbakır Courthouse, where the Narin Güran case is being heard, and made a statement. 

Calling for justice, father Nizamettin Kabaiş said, "I came last time as well, and I saw no benefit. No one opened their eyes, no one looked at me. I begged and pleaded with many people, saying, 'Look after us, look after Rojin too.' We have been left underfoot. Give us a hand. Ask what happened to Rojin? Help us, support us. But last time I saw no benefit. No one asked. I have come again this time."

Father Nizamettin Kabaiş drew attention to the suspicions surrounding his daughter's death and used the following expressions: 

'FOLLOW UP ON ROJİN'S CASE'

"I am asking everyone, I am asking for support from everyone. Follow up on Rojin's case. Where did Rojin go missing? What happened to Rojin? Who did what? Why did they take her and leave her there? Because they beat Rojin, they took her 24 kilometers away and left her in Molla Kasım. We are knocking on doors, no one opens the door, no one says anything. Let them not be afraid; I am asking the people of Molla Kasım, I am calling out from here. I am also calling out to the village of Bardakçı, let them speak. Only one woman said, 'A white car came and passed by that night.' They didn't even take its license plate, they just took her statement and let her go. And two male DNA samples were found on Rojin; it is clear that they harmed her. There is a fracture there from strangulation. We do not know what they did to Rojin right now. I mean, death is something we all must accept. We will all die, the living beings here, humans, and other living things, everyone will die. But if we do not know the cause of death, that is very difficult, it weighs heavily. How was Rojin killed? What happened to Rojin? Who did what? There are so many cameras. There are so many phones. There are camera recordings, there are phone signals. They could find where she was that night if they checked these phone signals. We requested all of this. I want a detailed investigation. I am asking the state officials. Let them help us, what happened to Rojin."
