RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin targets Fatih Altaylı: 'He enjoys being insulted, he's a schizophrenic...'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı recently criticized the 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, for attending a meeting of the Anatolian Broadcasters Federation.

Speaking on his own YouTube channel, Altaylı referred to the journalists who attended the meeting as 'riffraff' (ayak takımı).

Pro-government Milliyet columnist Zafer Şahin stated the following regarding Fatih Altaylı: "A scumbag named Fatih Altaylı has used the term 'Riffraff' for the journalists Kılıçdaroğlu met with. As someone who attended that meeting, I am exercising my right to respond to this rich kid who attacks everywhere like a rabid dog for clicks and engagement. I am from the riffraff, Altaylı. It is better than being a fascist like you, a scumbag who is a man for all seasons."

Responding to the question, 'The applause emoji you left on journalist Zafer Şahin's post about Fatih Altaylı has become a hot topic. What would you like to say?', Ebubekir Şahin said, "This person is trying to increase his viewership by attacking everyone, and is looking to make money from insolence and indecency. He wants to stay on the agenda by insulting and disparaging our country's honorable journalists. He must have a fear of being forgotten. Because no professional television station accepts him. He had to move his program to social media. He seems to enjoy being insulted. He has an attitude of 'Let the money come from YouTube, I don't care if I'm cursed at.' It's interesting. Pride and honor are being trampled underfoot," and continued as follows:

He insulted the media members who met with Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Among them are many experienced journalists who are doyens of the profession. Zafer Şahin is a successful journalist whom I appreciate, and we graduated from the same school. He has dedicated his years to this profession.
