Statement from Russia on Kharkiv: We have captured it!

The Russian Ministry of Defense has issued a statement regarding the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, where tensions have escalated significantly in recent days.

The statement from the ministry provided information on the activities of Russian military units in the Russia-Ukraine War.

Stating that the Russian army continues its operations in Ukraine, the statement included the phrase, "Units of the Northern Military Group, as a result of active operations, have liberated the settlement of Staritsa in the Kharkiv region."

The statement, which also shared information that 37 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Ukrainian army have been shot down since yesterday, noted the following:

"Since the beginning of the military operation, 601 aircraft, 274 helicopters, 24 thousand 271 UAVs, 522 air defense missile systems, 16 thousand 74 tanks and armored vehicles, 1304 multiple launch rocket systems, 9 thousand 664 howitzers and mortars, and 21 thousand 763 special military vehicles belonging to the Ukrainian army have been destroyed."
