Russian delegation says they are focused on resolving the Ukraine conflict
Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky stated that the Russian delegation is focused on finding ways to resolve the Ukraine conflict.

The Russian and Ukrainian delegations are expected to meet in Istanbul as part of peace negotiations.
In this context, Vladimir Medinsky, Aide to the President of Russia, made a statement at the Russian Consulate in Istanbul on behalf of the Russian delegation that arrived in the city.
Medinsky provided detailed information regarding his meeting with Putin before the negotiating delegation departed for Istanbul.
Stating that the Russian delegation in Istanbul possesses all necessary competencies and is focused on constructive work and finding ways to resolve the Ukraine conflict, Medinsky said, "We view the negotiations in Istanbul as a continuation of the peace talks that were disrupted by the Ukrainian side in 2022.
Our goal in the negotiations with Ukraine is to ensure long-term peace by eliminating the root causes of the crisis," he said.
