Saadet Party leader Arıkan: There isn't a minister who doesn't have a photo with Haluk Levent

Arıkan said, "There isn't a minister who doesn't have a photo with Haluk Levent. When are you going to call them to testify? I am calling out once again: You must resolutely go after the political wing. Who is in the political wing of this Ahbap investigation? If an incident has occurred in this country to date, it certainly has a political wing."

While expressing that the political wing of the Ahbap investigation should be questioned, Arıkan stated, "They questioned journalists for posting tweets. They took the statements of artists because they donated to the Ahbap organization; let them take them, let them get to the bottom of this. There are 16 ministers in the Council of Ministers. There is almost no minister who doesn't have a photo with Haluk Levent. When are you going to call them to testify? I am calling out once again from Mamak, Ankara: You must resolutely go after the political wing."

Mahmut Arıkan summarized his assessments as follows:

"They questioned journalists for posting tweets. They took the statements of artists because they donated to the Ahbap organization; let them take them, let them get to the bottom of this. But a question suddenly formed in our minds: You are calling so many artists to testify, you are calling so many journalists to testify regarding Ahbap and Haluk Levent. But when are you going to call those who pose for photos in the ruling party's camp to testify?

There are 16 ministers in the Council of Ministers. There is almost no minister who doesn't have a photo with Haluk Levent. When are you going to call them to testify? I am calling out once again from Mamak, Ankara: You must resolutely go after the political wing. Who is in the political wing of this Ahbap investigation? If an incident has occurred in this country to date, it certainly has a political wing. You uncovered what you called the greatest terrorist power. Every time we said let the political wing be pursued, you tried to cover that part up. We will be the followers of this matter.

"Those who provide a cover for what the thief steals are just as guilty as the thief in this country"

We will not let this matter go until the political wing is revealed, dear friends. The biggest fraud incident in the history of the Republic of Turkey has taken place. There is no possibility that there was no political support from a state official behind Haluk Levent, who committed this fraud. Any citizen, one brother sends 50 thousand liras to another brother, the tax office calls and asks: 'Why did you send this 50 thousand liras?' A money traffic of millions of dollars continued for years, money was transferred to gambling, money was transferred to bounced checks and loan sharks, but this was revealed years later. What was expected? Which time period was it timed to coincide with? These stand before us as the final question marks in our minds.

We accept this: The greatest crime lies with the person who committed the theft, Haluk Levent. But those who provide a cover for what the thief steals are just as guilty as the thief in this country. These are also the political wing. We hope and expect from the government that this political wing will be revealed as soon as possible.

"Dreams of Mosul 83, reality of diesel 83"

We have finished the month of July. This month, there have been six price hikes on diesel alone. As you would appreciate, if there is a price hike on fuel, everything from A to Z will increase in price. Everything will affect our lives. Inflation will rise upwards. What was the government saying at its own picnics, its own parliamentary meetings, and the meetings held by its own organizations? They would take the microphone in their hands. They were saying 81 Düzce, 82 Kirkuk, 83 Mosul. Mosul did not become 83, but diesel became 83. I say it again, dreams of Mosul 83 have turned into the reality of diesel 83. Dreams of Turkey as a leading country, reality of Turkey preparing lavish breakfasts and lavish meals for the bosses and heads of state of leading countries. Dreams of Turkey as a world leader, but unfortunately, at the end of 24 years, they have succeeded in turning it into a country that is a world leader in inflation and interest rates.

"There is a government here that sees no harm in spending 14 million liras on snack money"

The Ministry of Social Services spent exactly 14 million on snacks, flowers, and insects in the first 5 months of 2026, 14 million. You say 'give a raise to the retiree', they say 'we have no money'. You say 'give money to the farmer', they say 'we have no money'. You say 'give money to the minimum wage earner', they say 'we have no money'. You say 'give money to veterans and relatives of martyrs', they say 'we have no money'. They do not appoint teachers, you say 'support them', they say 'we have no money'. But there is a government here that sees no harm in spending 14 million liras on snack money alone in 5 months. You cannot fix the institution of the family by spending money on snacks and flowers."
