Sabahat Akkiraz responds to claims she is 'joining the İYİ Party'
Akkiraz had visited İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu at the İYİ Party Headquarters. TGRT Ankara Representative Fatih Atik claimed that artist Sabahat Akkiraz would join the İYİ Party.

Former CHP Istanbul Deputy and artist Sabahat Akkiraz responded to the claim by TGRT Ankara Representative Fatih Atik that "Sabahat Akkiraz is joining the İYİ Party."
Sabahat Akkiraz made the following statement on her social media account:
"I am a member of the CHP.
I come together with every party for my country, for secularism, for national unity, for Atatürk, and for the problems and demands of the Turkish people; I express my ideas and I listen to their ideas. I show solidarity.
We still have a long way to go.
Long live a Fully Independent Turkey, Long live the Secular Republic, Long live Mustafa Kemal Atatürk"
