In Hatay, one of the provinces most affected by the February 6 earthquakes, the drinking water problem continues.

The purification system, which was established by the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) as a solution to the drinking water problem experienced after the earthquake in Toygarlı neighborhood and has a daily purification capacity of 30 thousand liters of drinking water, was sabotaged by unidentified individuals the night before last.

The statement made by TKP Hatay included the following: "Our purification system, which we established as a solution to the drinking water problem experienced after the earthquake in Toygarlı neighborhood and which has a daily purification capacity of 30 thousand liters of drinking water, was sabotaged by enemies of the people. This purification device was installed so that the public could access drinking water for free and easily, but those who are enemies of the people, to the point of not even allowing people to access water, are in the field! Despite you, we will establish a pro-people municipality and govern Defne together with the people!"
