Announcing the sad news on his social media account, Çömez stated, "My dear mother, İkbal Çömez, has reached the mercy of God. Her funeral will be held tomorrow (01/27/2026) following the afternoon prayer and she will be laid to rest in Gönen Paşaçiftlik Village. May she rest in peace. May my friends be well."
