Sad news from the Ministry of National Defense: One soldier martyred
According to a statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, one soldier has been martyred in the Claw-Lock operation region.

The statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense included the following:
"Our heroic comrade-in-arms, Infantry Specialist Sergeant Sait Toktaş, has been martyred in the Claw-Lock operation region as a result of a lightning strike on his position."
The news of the martyrdom of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Sait Toktaş, who was martyred due to a lightning strike while on duty in the Claw-Lock Operation Region, was delivered to his mother in the Güzel Yurt neighborhood of Nevşehir by Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan, Nevşehir Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Bahittin Murat Yakın, Provincial Police Chief Ali Loğoğlu, and Nevşehir Mayor Rasim Arı. Governor Fidan offered his condolences to the martyr's mother and informed her of her son's death.
Turkish flags were hung on the martyr's house and street. Medical teams intervened to assist relatives who suffered nervous breakdowns. It was learned that Toktaş, who was single, had previously lost his father.
In a written message, Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan stated, "I wish God's mercy upon our heroic martyr Sait Toktaş; I extend my condolences and patience to his grieving family, our fellow citizens in Nevşehir, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our beloved nation."
The body of 27-year-old Infantry Specialist Sergeant Sait Toktaş, who was martyred in the Claw-Lock Operation Region, will be laid to rest tomorrow following the funeral prayer at the Boğaz Village Central Mosque after the noon prayer.
