SADAT founder Adnan Tanrıverdi has passed away
It has been learned that Adnan Tanrıverdi, the founder of SADAT (International Defense Consultancy), has passed away.

SADAT founder Adnan Tanrıverdi passed away early this morning (August 4).
The 79-year-old Tanrıverdi had been receiving cancer treatment at Çam and Sakura City Hospital for some time.
A condolence message was also published on the website of the Association of Defenders of Justice (ASDER), where Tanrıverdi served as honorary president.
The message stated, "Our Pasha Adnan Tanrıverdi, who served as the General President of ASDER during the 2004-2009 period and provided great service in the removal of military tutelage and efforts to strengthen democracy against coups, has passed away this morning. We wish for God's mercy upon him. May his place be heaven and his soul be blessed."
FUNERAL PROGRAM ANNOUNCED
It has been learned that Tanrıverdi's funeral will be held on Monday, August 5 (tomorrow), following the afternoon prayer at Eyüpsultan Mosque.
HE HAD RESIGNED FROM HIS POSITION AS CHIEF ADVISOR
Tanrıverdi previously served as the Chief Advisor to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Tanrıverdi, who was appointed as Chief Advisor to the President in August 2016, resigned in January 2020.
