In a faculty recruitment posting by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Özlem Akı, the wife of Cüneyt Akı, who is the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, was described.
According to the report by Veli Toprak from Sözcü, it was announced via a posting published in the Official Gazette on November 30 that 2 academic staff members and 17 faculty members would be recruited.
In the official posting, it was stated that the faculty member to be recruited by the university would be required to have "conducted studies in the field of Policies for Training Senior Public Administrators in Turkey During the Digitalization Process."

The dean's wife had also prepared a thesis titled "Policies for training senior public administrators in Turkey in terms of the digitalization process." It was observed that the requirement in the posting and the thesis title of the dean's wife were exactly the same. The conditions in the posting sparked a 'tailor-made' controversy.
