Şamil Tayyar, who has not refrained from making notable criticisms of the AKP through his social media posts, has now addressed the consecutive resignations within his party.

Resignations have come one after another in the AKP. Following the resignations of Muğla Provincial Chair Haluk Laçin and Elazığ Provincial Chair Şerafettin Yıldırım, two more provincial chairs announced today that they have left their posts.
AKP Niğde Provincial Chair Mustafa Özdemir also announced that he has left his post. Finally, Adıyaman Provincial Chair Faruk Bülent Kablan shared with the public via his social media account that he has resigned from his position in the party.
While the consecutive resignations on the AKP front continue to be discussed on the political agenda, a striking assessment regarding the resignations came from AKP member Tayyar.
Pointing out that the resignations will increase, Tayyar made the following statement:
"The number of provincial chairs who have resigned in the AK Party has risen to 5.
It looks like this number will increase even more.
Organization Chair Ahmet Büyükgümüş is trying to reorganize the organizations ahead of the election.
A scalpel needed to be applied to the organizations; they are doing the right thing.
I hope they do not hesitate and apply the scalpel even deeper.
Because the issue is deep.
